I like the way that the double page spread has been laid out, as the large images will instantaneously attract my attention as well as them being MCR and a band I like so I would be more inclined to look. Also through the use of black and white images it makes the titles stand out more, as they are in red. This would make me see the title and page if I was flicking through the magazine, as the bright colours would stand out. In this article it is about MCR in the studio and their new untitled album, as a fan people will want to read about the music they like as well as new music that is going to be realised by one of their favourite bands.

The story appeals to the target audience which would most likely be typically ‘emos’ or rockers; I think they have successfully targeted them as the layout and colouring of the double page spread is dark which is typical to Goths and emos as well as red which could symbolise anger or blood so that they may, without noticing, be more attracted to it if they are that type of person.

I think that from this article I may take some of the ideas to have large images as they are very noticeable and would attract readers to your article very quickly and easily. Also I think that I may take their use if the big title that has different colours on it, which I think makes the title stand out more.

The thing that attracts me to the article is what the article is about, as it is about Gerard Way from my chemical romance whose music I listen too. Also the article has got a large image of Gerard Way on it so it would also attract people to the magazine and make it clear what the magazine is going to be about. Also the colours would attract me as well as the layout and colouring. I like the colour scheme that has been used as the uses of the red, black and white makes Gerard stand out, attracting you to the article’s attention. As the article is about Gerard and his personnel life it would attract a lot of fans who like to know about him.

From this article I would take the idea of having a colour theme and making a dramatic image and page layout to attract an audience to the article. Another thing that I may take from this advert would be the use of a large image that coincides with the layout and colouring of the page.

I am intrested by the content on the article as it is about my chemical romance; a band that i like. Also i like the layout of the pages witth a large letter at the start of the paragraph. Also i like the colour usage of black anf reed, which makes the title clearly stand out. Also as there is a large image of Gerard Way so fans would be attracted to the article because they would be attracted to the large image of Gerard.

The article may attract people as it is about Gerard so people may be more inclined to be attracted to the article. from this article i would consider taking the title design and the use of a logo as well as using the colour theme to make the title stand out clearly.
